Full Job Description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a HR SPEC (MIL), Position Description Number T59004P1 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard.

This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade.

Specialized experience factors encompass human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S.

Army, or U.S. Air Force.

Must have experience with military human resources policies, rules, guidelines, instructions, etc to understand the assigned program(s) and converse effectively with functional managers, advise commanders, customers, lower graded personnel, or lower echelons.

Must have experience with automated systems, personal computers, and software employed in the assigned program area to utilize the systems in developing reports, correspondence and to extract data.

Must have experience with planning, organizing work, administering, communicating effectively (both orally and in writing), meeting deadlines, gathering, analyzing data/products, and summarizing facts in order to determine adequacy and/or deficiencies of assigned programs.

If you don't have your DD-214, you may request it after discharge from the National Archives.

-If you are a veteran within 120 days of discharge, you must submit signed documentation from the Armed Forces certifying: 1) your expected release/retirement from active duty, 2) under honorable conditions, 3) your pay grade/rank/rate at time of discharge, 4) dates of active duty service, 5) any campaign or expeditionary medals received 6) dated within 120 days of your separation.

-If you are a Disabled Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient, or Mother or Spouse of a Disabled or Deceased Veteran, you must submit all additional proof required by the SF15, and if applicable, a completed SF15.

- Any other supporting documentation required for verification as described in the announcement. - Do not submit photographs with your application package.
