This job involves hands-on maintenance work on highways, such as setting up traffic controls, repairing signs and drainage systems, operating small equipment, and cleaning up debris, often in outdoor conditions.
It's ideal for someone who is physically fit, enjoys manual labor, and is willing to work long hours during emergencies or bad weather.
No prior experience is needed, but you'll need to get a commercial driver's license soon after starting.
