State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and work experience in the modification and maintenance of system programs, the design and development of system software, or the testing and debugging of system software.
An associate's degree or a bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required work experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and one (1) year of applicable software development and modification experience; or associate degree in computer science, computer technology, or a related field and two (2) years of applicable software development and modification experience; or a high school diploma and four (4) years of experience in computer programming or computer system development and modification in a Microsoft ASP.NET MVC framework (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET) environment.
Knowledge of information systems design, testing, debugging, analysis, maintenance and security techniques. Experience in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and XML.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.

Minimal travel may be required generally within the Cayce Lexington - Columbia Richland County area which may encompass other agency facilities throughout the State of South Carolina using personal or state vehicle.
Some overnight travel may rarely be required. Position requires the staff carry a cell phone.
