Base salary range: $37,764 - $49,094

This job involves managing health services for an Air National Guard unit, including overseeing medical staffing, facilities, and programs to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
It also includes advising senior leaders on medical policies, handling sensitive health issues, and preparing budgets for medical activities.

This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Position.
This is a Permanent GS-0671-09 HEALTH SYSTEMS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1722000 and is part of the MO 139th Airlift Wing. This is a bargaining position.
This position is also advertised on AGR announcement #AF26-025. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air National Guard.
Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion).
Maximum Military Grade - MSgt (E-7) GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess a minimum of one year on the job military or civilian working experience and knowledge of the basic principles and practices related to the management of health care delivery systems.
GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least one year of experience, education or training equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or equivalent that provided a thorough knowledge of the mission, organization, programs, and requirements of a health care delivery system to plan, organize, and implement the unit's health programs; ability to analyze problems using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques; and knowledge of established management principles and techniques to recognize the different functions and motivations of various groups in the health care system, provide technical and administrative advice to management officials, and the ability and skill to prepare and deliver briefings to managers and supervisors in order to resolve problems and coordinate medial programs.
