This job is for a Group Superintendent in the Air National Guard, where you'll advise the group commander on enlisted personnel and operational issues, while helping to organize programs and improve administrative processes.
It's a leadership role that involves planning, problem-solving, and communicating effectively within a military wing.
A good fit would be someone with military or supervisory experience who enjoys guiding teams and handling day-to-day operations in a structured environment.
This GROUP SUPERINTENDENT position, is located in an Air National Guard Wing, at the Group level under direct supervision of the group commander and is part of the CA 163 ATKW.
This position is concurrently announced with AGR A26-119. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. Referral and selection will be IAWCNGFPR335.
General Experience: Possess experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration; Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information; Ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled; Experience using computer and automation system.
GROUP SUPERINTENDENT, GS-0301-11: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations; Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures; Experience preparing written communications and oral presentation.
