This job involves coordinating the integration of spacecraft payloads at the Kennedy Space Center for NASA's Artemis missions, ensuring everything from hardware processing to safety checks runs smoothly for launches.
It requires leading teams across different programs to solve technical problems and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Serves as the Launch Site Integration Engineer (LSIE), within the Program Technical Integration Branch of the Exploration Ground Systems Program Directorate.
Duties include performing launch site payload integration for Artemis missions, including managing ground integration requirements, launch site hardware processing, and payload support for launch.

To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Performing systems engineering, systems integration, technical integration, or technical issue resolution methods to ensure successful execution of agency missions; Partnering with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and end users to design, develop, manage, and integrate systems across the full system life cycle, including requirements engineering, analysis, testing, evaluation, or implementation/operations, to achieve system effectiveness and efficiency.
Integrating or providing technical guidance of program and projects to achieve mission objectives and goals.
