Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an engineer on the AEGIS Weapon System, a key naval defense technology, where you'll provide expert oversight, lead teams in testing and improving the system, and ensure it meets military standards through collaboration with various experts.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer providing technical oversight planning, managing and coordinating various engineering development programs/projects that involve continuous systems modification, system requirement evaluation, and system performance analysis.
