Full Job Description

You will serve as a GENERAL ENGINEER in the Advanced Undersea Systems Division (SEA 05U5) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-02 (GS-11 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional Engineer leading project management teams, developing system engineering processes, or solving engineering problems for underwater ship systems.

  • You will perform technical reviews on submittals including drawings, system diagrams, calculations, technical manual, test procedures and test results.

  • You will work within a team to reach conclusion on critical matters with limited information and significant time constraints.
  • You will troubleshoot, analyze, and determine operating problems, make appropriate recommendations and changes to correct deficiencies.
