Full Job Description

You will serve as a GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST in the RAPID CAPABILITY SOLUTIONS DEPT of NAWCAD WEBSTER OUTLYING FIELD.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the practices and methodologies associated with acquisition, management analysis, management theories, principles, techniques, and reporting methods; 2) Ability to conduct, prioritize and balance multiple data analysis requirements for complex organizational studies within a dynamic work environment; 3) Demonstrated expertise in rapid response acquisition, service and hardware contracts; 4) Demonstrated ability to apply quantitative and qualitative methods, measurement, fact finding, and investigative techniques for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of assignments; and 5) Demonstrated understanding technical problems in order to review contractor performance as it relates to system technology and equipment.

  • You will conduct review of project execution to assess the contract management strategies and forecasts for large contract actions.
  • You will recognize and report anomalies to higher level stakeholders to make recommendations for changes in strategy and/or process as approved by management.
  • You will provide Department level contract support and policy guidance at program working groups/conferences.
  • You will process operational requirements for rapid response systems, program initiatives and project plans to include routine and non-recurring data-calls, maintain various tracking sheets for programs and initiatives.
  • You will coordinate submissions of program/project planning data received from components and supporting organizations.
  • You will review contractor financial status/performance reports to identify trends and coordinate budgets for strategic planning, program schedules, and contract management
  • You will participate in preparation for contract and program reviews to support the Staff and project managers in presenting program status and progress.
