The Utah State Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time employee to prepare and serve food for both patients and employees at the beautiful Utah State Hospital campus. We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to the team, willing and capable of the work required to prepare and serve over 1200 daily meals to our patients and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Have a food handlers permit or Servsafe certificate.
  • Have experience cooking in an institutional environment.
  • Have experience preparing and setting up for catered events.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Be able to cheerfully adapt to unforeseen changes, such as staffing needs and menu adaptations.
  • May help in maintaining food storage areas.
