This job involves reviewing and processing invoices for services provided to children and families in Westmoreland County, ensuring everything is accurate and follows financial rules.
You'll handle detailed accounting tasks like verifying payments and contacting providers about issues, all while supporting a team that helps vulnerable kids and families.
It's a great fit for someone detail-oriented with accounting experience who wants stable government work with some flexibility after settling in.

In this important role, you will analyze provider professional and purchased service invoices, review invoiced amounts for accuracy and verify that all services are matched to approvals.
Your attention to detail skills will be key as you verify that days of care billed match county records and ensure that all required invoicing elements and code invoices for payment have been provided.
You can expect to contact providers to discuss any invoicing issues that do not meet established procedures.
This position analyzes forms, correspondence, reports and other fiscal records to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with fiscal regulations.
Our ideal candidate must be able to work independently and confidentially, able to multi-task, have advanced accounting and PC knowledge (AS400, CIS, Microsoft Word and Excel).
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, one (1) day per week of telework may be available, after 6-months of employment.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
