Specialized Experience - GS-06 Grade Level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing work in performing monthly reconciliations, examining files and accounts to assure they are in balance and proper format.
Specialized Experience - GS-07 Grade Level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing work in performing account balancing and reconciliation duties; experience with automated accounting and civilian pay/leave systems; working with automated financial systems, and accounting code structure and procedures that involve a wide variety of interrelated steps, conditions, and procedures or processes.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
Time in Grade Requirement: GS-06 Grade Level: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
