About the Position: This position serves as a Financial Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 4 years and may be made permanent. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of 6 years.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Apply regulations associated with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) accounting and reporting systems; 2) Provide budget information to the assigned area and to other financial managers; 3) Analyze expense reports to ensure charges are authorized; AND 4) Determine the corrective action required through reconciliation of financial records.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
