To qualify for the GS-0501-07 level your resume must demonstrate that you have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public performing financial management analysis using knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and budgetary policies to perform the following: 1) Supporting senior personnel involved with the preparation of budgets related to financial management of programs and administrative operations; 2) Supporting senior personnel involved with the development of budgetary policies and practices; 3) Communicating financial information orally and in writing.
To qualify for the GS-0501-09 level your resume must demonstrate that you have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public performing financial management analysis using knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and budgetary policies to perform the following: 1) Assisting with the preparation of budgets related to financial management of programs and administrative operations; 2) Assisting with the development of budgetary policies and practices; 3) Assisting with defending report and estimates to senior leadership; 4) Following prescribed instructions to assist in budget analysis; 5) Communicating financial information orally and in writing.
