Full Job Description

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst for MARCORSYSCOM.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or NH-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluate and/or compare budgeting functions by analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations, reviewing budget execution, and providing recommendations for resource allocation and fund transfers for assigned programs.

  • You will serve as the Financial Management Analyst supporting one ore more programs with PPBE, FAR, DAMS knowledge involving RDT-E, Procurement, and O-M appropriations.
  • You will review financial documents to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • You will analyze and track obligations and expenditures to maintain adherence to program budgets.
  • You will monitor and analyze the execution of approved budgets to ensure alignment with established goals.
  • You will recommend fund transfers and ensure timely issuance of funding documents for program activities.
  • You will conduct budget analysis and resolve conflicts, making recommendations for program objectives.
  • You will collaborate with senior analysts to develop financial recommendations, presentations, and proposals for program plans.
  • You will execute effective financial operations and apply automated data processing techniques to support budget and accounting systems.
  • You will team with senior analysts during Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions, budget year estimates, and current year allocations.
