The primary purpose of this position is: To program, schedule, and control work orders in appropriate work areas considering priority of work and the availability of material, manpower, equipment, and to coordinate work requiring the efforts of numerous functions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions, Equipment Facilities and Services Series 1603 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (GS-05): Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems.

Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of the basic principles, concepts, and methodology of the classified title.

Skill in applying basic principles, concepts, and practices of the occupation sufficient to perform entry-level assignments.

Ability to effectively communicate information clearly, orally and in writing. Ability to gather and analyze basic facts and draw conclusions. Ability to learn the operation of automated data systems.

OR EDUCATION: 4 years above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.

Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (GS-07): Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, or equivalent in other pay systems.

Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of the classified title, and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation sufficient to perform difficult, but well-precedented assignments.

Knowledge of analysis, evaluation, fact-finding, and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant factors, and recommend a solution from a number of possible alternatives.

Knowledge of the occupation to perform studies and prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate factual and procedural information clearly.

Skill in applying the principles, concepts, and practices of the occupation sufficient to perform moderately difficult assignments.

Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in an appropriate manner with peers and management.

Ability to learn and apply analytical investigative techniques to accomplish work in the subject-matter field.

FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible.

One year at the GS-05 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.

NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of CES Work Control, Customer Service, and Service Call procedures.

Knowledge of CE's work centers and type of work performed by each, Air Force Instructions, practices, and procedures pertaining to CE operations.

Knowledge of TRIRIGA automated data processing concepts, system capabilities, and economic usage to effectively accomplish assigned functions.

Skill and Extensive knowledge of rules, procedures, and operations applicable to real property management.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy and maintain good working relations.

Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish the mission, apply safety, security, and environmental standards, regulations and requirements.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

Duties GS-5/GS-7 Acts as the front-line CE customer interface in receiving, reviewing, and defining appropriate work classification, priorities, and processing all Civil Engineering (CE) service requests and transitioning them to TRIRIGA work tasks.

Ensures the work assignments are accomplished in accordance with the appropriate regulations and within established timeframes.

Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing all Civil Engineering Service Requests/Work Tasks and facility files associated with all work performed in facilities.

Assists in maintaining and revising the Facility Manager (FM) listing to ensure current primary and alternates are assigned as required.
