Summary
This job involves keeping the inside of government buildings clean and tidy by sweeping, washing, and polishing surfaces, as well as handling waste and basic maintenance tasks.
It's a hands-on role focused on maintaining clean environments in offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Incumbents of positions in this series clean floors by sweeping, vacuuming and washing, clean interior surfaces such as walls, ceilings and windows; clean lavatories, wash rooms, mop closets, etc.; empty waste and perform related work as required.The basic purpose of this work is to perform cleaning and related domestic services to the interior of buildings.
