As a Facility Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating building maintenance functions and services.
This includes determining unit work priorities, setting performance standards and goals, and evaluating work performance, in addition to handling discipline, participating in hiring decisions, and determining staff training needs.
Effective communication is a key part of this position as you will be coordinating building activities with internal and external Commonwealth teams, contractors, landlords, and other stakeholders.
Work involves operating a variety of machinery, making mechanical adjustments to equipment, and applying knowledge of building operations and applicable Departmental and Commonwealth policies and procedures.
Your dedication in this role will be essential for ensuring efficiency and timeliness in day-to-day operations, modifications to work environments, delivery of materials, and the scheduling and performance of small building repairs.
You will also have the opportunity to provide input for the bureau’s design, installation, and modification of modular office furniture layouts, as well as the act on behalf of DOR during emergency events such as building evacuations.

This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
