You will serve as a Fabric Worker in the Production Resources Department (900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO PROVIDE PRODUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES Experience resourcing in-depth knowledge and technique, skill in reading, interpreting, and correctly following complex written instructions; Experience with drawings, blueprints, specifications, radiological engineering standard, proper ventilation requirements-based knowledge of trade materials for containment fabrication; Experience applying skill in mathematical principles of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry to determine irregular curves, angles, planes, pitches, cylindrical, tapered, truncated cones and frustums for containment lay out; Experience planning and laying out work; Experience utilizing necessary tools, equipment and material to complete task; Experience ensuring safety and housekeeping rules are maintained.
