Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage logistics for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft program, focusing on budgeting, strategy development, and ensuring the planes stay ready for use.
You'll handle support plans, cost analysis, and resource coordination to keep the military aircraft in top condition.
It's a great fit for experienced leaders with a background in defense logistics who enjoy solving complex problems related to funding and maintenance.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT, PLATFORM LOGISTICS INTEGRATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (NM-04) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Demonstrating experience exercising resource responsibility and authority over support budgets through formal budget processes; 2) Serving in a leadership capacity managing product support strategy development, implementation, and management, to ensure alignment with sustainment and readiness requirements; and (3) Demonstrating experience evaluating program objectives to identify and resolve conflict among schedules, funding, and resources.
