Job Description

Summary

This job involves planning and running experiments, war games, and innovative projects to improve how Marine Corps teams operate in the field, especially in the Pacific region.

You'll coordinate with different units, create plans for testing new ideas, and ensure everything supports the warfighters effectively.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a EXPERIMENTATION AND INNOVATION SPECIALIST in the Experimentation, Wargaming, and Assessments Branch of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, preparing and executing projects for experimentation events and war games to enhance warfighter effectiveness.

  • You will develop and write evaluation plans; prepare command briefings; prepare memorandum of agreements and coordinate USMC and logistics support for experiments.
  • You will design, develop, and conduct experimentation/innovation in order to evaluate and integrate current, developmental and conceptual initiatives that support the warfighter.
  • You will plan, integrate, and synchronize the experimentation/innovation efforts of USMC units.
  • You will apply detailed solutions coupled with an extensive knowledge of USMC operational unit's current and future systems, roles, and functions.
