The Public Works Department is actively seeking an Executive Assistant to Appointed Official - Development Services.

This is administrative work in independently managing a variety of administrative support functions. The work requires knowledge of administrative methods, practices, and procedures and requires skills in researching, compiling, analyzing, and presenting data, which is usually gained through a combination of training and related experience. The work also requires the use of judgment in search for solutions or new applications and is performed in an office environment. The position requires the ability to operate personal computers, copiers, scanners and other standard office equipment as well as the ability to effectively use programs such as Word, Excel, Adobe PDF and web posting programs. Work is primarily performed under limited supervision subject to established practices and procedures covered by precedent or well-defined policy and work is reviewed, usually after the fact, in terms of quality, timeliness, and adherence to methods, standards, and policies. Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines is a critical component of this position. Due to the nature of Planning and Development operations, the employee must be able to work evenings as needed for various meetings.A FULLY COMPLETED ONLINE APPLICATION IS REQUIRED.
