Job Description

Summary

This job is for an Executive Assistant supporting high-level leaders in the U.S.

Navy's Pacific Fleet, handling tasks like scheduling meetings, managing emails and calls, arranging travel, and using office computers to keep things running smoothly.

It's ideal for someone organized and detail-oriented who enjoys helping busy professionals while working in a professional military environment in Washington state.

A good fit would be an experienced administrative professional comfortable with confidential information and interacting with various people.

Key Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience at GS-07 level or equivalent, including customer service, event coordination, and professional communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in standard office software
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and privileged communications via phone, email, and mail
  • Experience coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling, reservations, and preparing vouchers/itineraries
  • Familiarity with modern office automation systems, hardware, and software
  • Understanding of professional protocols in a government or military setting

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Experience providing customer service, coordinating and managing event logistics, and communicating within a professional environment.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective engagement with diverse stakeholders, along with strong computer literacy, including proficiency in standard office software and a solid understanding of professional protocols.

Major Duties:

  • You will serve as Executive Assistant to the Director and Deputy Director, performing a variety of general administrative duties.
  • You will arrange appointments, handling correspondence, preparing responses, highly confidential and privileged communications on telephone, emails and mail.
  • You will coordinate all travel arrangements, scheduling, reservations and preparation of travel vouchers and preparing itinerary details.
  • You will utilize modern office automation systems hardware and software in the performance of assigned duties.
