About the Position: Serve as the Executive Assistant in the Office of the Army General Counsel's Acquisition and Fiscal Law Practice Group.

This position is with the Office of the Army General Counsel located at the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative management support in the form of calendar scheduling and travel planning for senior leadership; drafting or editing documents utilizing Microsoft Office applications; researching data to provide reports; managing taskings for leadership.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Major Duties:

  • Consult with leadership when actions or taskers are received and assign these to staff for completion.
  • Manage staff actions, determine status, prioritize events, and provide comprehensive updates to Management.
  • Develop comprehensive plans and strategies for the integration of day-to-day and long-range projects, actions, and activities requiring the attention of office personnel.
  • Prepare briefings, handbooks, reports, forms, correspondence, etc. for the Office using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Perform paralegal duties involving preparing draft correspondence and briefings as needed by the organization.
  • Serve as a focal point for administrative staff integration, taskings, staff coordination, and dissemination of information.
