Job Duties:

The ES CACFP Program Monitor provides technical and professional services in the Nutrition Programs Monitoring unit of the Division of Early Care and Education.

Under direct supervision, performs administrative and financial reviews of organizations participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal policies and regulations.


  • Performs routine and special administrative reviews of the various financial and program records of providers of the CACFP.

  • Provides on-site technical assistance to CACFP providers.

  • Develops and prepares reports; analyzes program information.

  • Conducts unannounced on-site meal service observations at CACFP facilities.

  • Ensures that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. Protects the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of professional experience in administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.

A Master’s Degree and one (1) year of professional experience in administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.
