Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.

Specialized experience is defined as: education, or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting advanced concepts, principles, and theories of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements; OR analyzing and processing discrimination complaints; OR coordinating requests for Reasonable Accommodations (Disability and/or Religious); OR assists in conducting EEO site visits or program reviews.

Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:

  • Assures all requirements for processing EEO Contacts, Pre-Complaint Counseling, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) requests relating to Pre-Complaints are processed in accordance with regulations and Agency Instruction.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness and makes recommendations for changes and improvements. Performs statistical analyses for the annual EEO MD 715 Report to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
  • Makes determinations and drafts correspondences on acceptance/dismissal of complaints; ensures prompt, fair investigations; and performs sufficiency review of Reports of Investigation.
  • Assists in developing, coordinating, and implementing the DCAA Affirmative Employment Plans which further Agency EEO goals and objectives.
  • Serves as the Agency Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Manager.
