DCSA's Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO) is looking for a EEO Reasonable Accommodations Specialist on the Compliance Division.
The incumbent, will be responsible for the direction, management, and oversight of the RA cases for DCSA. Tracks, monitors and reports on the timeliness and accuracy via data reports.
Works closely with Equal Opportunity, Employee Relations, General Counsel, and supervisors/managers and employees in processing reasonable accommodation requests.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Processing Reasonable Accommodation (RA) requests, for medical, disability-related, or religious needs, from applicants and employees of the Agency Providing technical advice and guidance to Agency leaders, including researching products/technologies available for Reasonable Accommodation (RA) requests Processing RA requests while working closely with Equal Opportunity, Employee Relations, General Counsel, supervisors/managers, and employees Developing an action plan to address deficiencies identified in the Annual Equal Employment Opportunity Program Status Report with regard to the Person with Disabilities Program (PWD) Developing systems/processes to ensure supervisors/managers take ownership and fulfill their responsibilities in the RA process Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: Compliance Inspection: Knowledge of the guidelines, regulations, and procedures associated with compliance inquiries, including application of compliance rules and criteria and ability to make appropriate decisions and issue citations, fines, or orders.
Creativity and Innovation: Develops new insights into situations; questions conventional approaches; encourages new ideas and innovations; designs and implements new or cutting edge programs/processes.
Legal, Government and Jurisprudence: Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, legal practices and documents, Government regulations, Executive orders, agency rules, Government organization and functions, and the democratic political process.
Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
