Become an Environmental Specialist Trainee with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) and help safeguard military and veteran facilities by ensuring environmental compliance.
As an Environmental Specialist Trainee, you will participate in a 12-month on-the-job training program and be part of a supportive team that is dedicated to your professional growth.
Your work will have a lasting impact on our state as you help ensure that department properties and activities comply with environmental laws, regulations, and polices.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Annville. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
Additional details may be provided during the interview.Due to the trainee nature of this position, approval to telework may not be granted until you have completed a sufficient period of training.
Once approved for telework, you must work in the office at least 50% of the time within each pay period, subject to supervisory/management approval.
