The Commonwealth is seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental Group Manager to join the Department of Environmental Protection—a statewide leader committed to safeguarding our air, land, and water while promoting the health and well-being of every resident and visitor.

In this role, you will lead a team of professional staff responsible for developing rulemakings, regulatory and non-regulatory State Implementation Plans (SIPs), and other key work products that support the Department’s Air Program.
You will ensure all documents meet state and federal legal requirements, follow Department and Commonwealth procedures, and are submitted to the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency in accordance with applicable federal laws.
You will also oversee project management across the Bureau, guide staff development, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables that support the Department’s obligations under the Clean Air Act (CAA) and Air Pollution Control Act (APCA).

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
