This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled by a General Engineer (0801 series), an Operations Research Analyst (1515 series), a Mathematician (1520 series), or a Computer Scientist (1550 series) depending upon the qualifications of the candidate.

FOR THE ND-04: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist conducting design, development, test & evaluation, integration, or in-service engineering for system engineering projects.
Examples of specialized experience may include: conducting systems engineering analysis and design; utilizing agile development, data analytics, and Model Base System Engineering (MBSE} tools to create, manage, and analyze digital models of complex systems, supporting design, simulation, and requirements traceability.
FOR THE ND-03: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-02 (GS-05/08 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist that demonstrates an understanding and application of core system engineering principles (i.e.
requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and/or maintenance) to solve problems or perform tasks in support of engineering assignments.
