Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves supporting engineering projects for the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers by handling contract tasks, checking construction quality, and reviewing proposals for military bases, flood protection, and other public works in Southern California.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is in the Southern California Area Office, Vandenberg AFB located in either Vandenberg AFB, Los Angeles, Corona or Palmdale.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) performing a variety of contract administration duties, such as preparing change requests and construction cost estimates for military or civil works construction projects; 2) performing field engineering duties to include quality assurance (QA) checks; and 3) reviewing contractors' proposals.
