This job involves leading a team as a senior technician in nuclear engineering for the U.S.
Navy, focusing on planning and overseeing tests for nuclear reactors on ships to ensure they work safely and effectively.
It requires managing projects from start to finish, including installation, monitoring, and maintenance of propulsion systems.

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR) in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical engineering services analyzing, evaluating and advising on the development, implementation and execution of test programs for nuclear reactor plant test projects on Naval vessels.
