Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves providing technical advice on naval architecture for Navy ships, including fixing issues with structures, paints, and layouts during repairs or new builds.
You'll create drawings, review project plans, and guide teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECH (NAVAL ARCHITECTURE) in the Engineering Dept, C200 of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing technical engineering advisory services in the field of Naval Architecture, including assessment and recommendations for project repairs, modifications, and alterations during new ship construction, ship overhaul or repair projects.
