Summary

This Engineering Technician position is with the U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command, based in Pennsylvania.

The role involves coordinating construction and maintenance projects, preparing technical documentation, and serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative.

About the Position: This Engineering Technician position is with the Tobyhanna Army Depot Directorate of Installation Service.

This position will be filled at the GS-07 grade level with promotion potential to the GS-09 grade level.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).

Major Duties:

  • Coordinate with organizational elements on new construction, alteration, and maintenance projects for various installation facilities.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical and administrative project submittal documentation for higher headquarters in accordance with Army regulations.
  • Develop a wide variety of designs including drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates within architectural and engineering disciplines.
  • Act as the Contracting Officers Representative for construction and service contracts.
