Full Job Description

You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Production Engineering & Facilities Division, Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing infrastructure projects, including analyzing technical specifications, developing detailed plans, and providing the necessary guidance to ensure scheduled work requirements are met.

  • You will provide program coordination and direction of engineering and planning functions to ensure thorough planning and technical guidance of all approved work.
  • You will communicate with assigned customers to identify facility construction, transportation, and repair requirements.
  • You will provide management guidance and coordinate program requirements with other Facility Customer Service Representatives.
  • You will participate in problem resolution during the construction phase of projects.
  • You will determine adequacy of schedules for all major program assignments.
  • You will track project progress and expenditures.
  • You will adjust program plans to accommodate urgent requirements.
