Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an engineering technician to oversee the construction of naval ships, providing technical advice on equipment and systems, reviewing contractor plans for compliance, and investigating issues during design, building, and testing.

You will serve as a Engineering Technician in the Engineering Division of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical guidance and solutions of configuration and change management for new construction oversight of ships.
