Full Job Description

You will serve as the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) for Program Executive Office Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS) within US Special Operations Command's Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Center at NIWC ATLANTIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or ND-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and fielding C6ISR systems using agile, Digital Engineering, and AI/ML approaches, leading teams on integrated data models and advanced communications technologies, while driving technical roadmaps and forging cross-organizational partnerships across the IC, Services, OSD, industry, and academia to achieve mission and strategic objectives.

  • You will translate complex data collection requirements into actionable, mission-relevant intelligence systems.
  • You will ensure compliance with engineering standards, acquisition policies, and federally mandated system architectures.
  • You will support technical councils, events, and webinars while advising on contract strategies and engineering insertions.
  • You will collaborate across departments to share data, establish best practices, and enhance operational decision-making.
