Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading engineering teams to design, build, and test secure communication systems for special operations missions, ensuring they work across air, land, and sea platforms.
It requires overseeing projects from research to deployment while collaborating with intelligence and government groups to meet mission needs.

You will serve as the Lead Systems Engineer in the JOINT ISR SOLUTIONS, providing Systems Engineering technical leadership and oversight to the Special Operations ISR Systems Integrated Project Team at NIWC ATLANTIC.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or ND-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.
Demonstrate experience in development of C6ISR and tactical systems in an agile engineering environment to effectively determine design, integration, transition, and deploy basic advanced tactical communications or signals intelligence architectures, systems, and technologies 2.
Demonstrate experience in system and Digital engineering, encompassing the full spectrum of activities from research and development to design, integration, testing, and deployment of communications and signals intelligence architectures, systems, and technologies across air, ground, and maritime platforms.
3. Demonstrate skill in building and utilizing collaborative communities of interest and multidisciplinary teams within the intelligence community to meet technical goals and objectives.
Ensure technologies are shared amongst disparate IPTs and Sponsors. 4.
Experience assessing and adapting to external influence/impact from sponsors/customers, national policy, and other governmental agencies at potentially any level of government.
Demonstrate knowledge, awareness and understanding of external influences and the impact on the Department and Division strategies. 5.
Demonstrate ability to review complex technical issues and concisely convey them along with a recommendation to executive level decision makers such as Flag Level Officers, SES, and SSTMs.
