Job Summary
The Elementary Teacher Education Faculty position is a full-time, 9-month faculty role within the Education Department.
Faculty members are responsible for teaching 15 credit hours each fall and spring semester. Opportunities to teach during the summer semester may be available for additional compensation.
Instruction may be delivered through a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods, including face-to-face, online, computer-aided, distance learning, self-paced, and interdisciplinary formats.
While the primary teaching location is the Littleton Campus, faculty may be assigned to teach at any of ACC’s campuses, including Littleton, Castle Rock, and Legacy, and must be available to teach during various times, including days, evenings, and some weekends.
This faculty member will support both Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Elementary Teacher programs.
Responsibilities include collaboration with ACC’s campus-based Early Learning Center to support curricular and instructional alignment under the direction of the department chair and in collaboration with the Assistant Director of the Early Learning Center, as well as contributing to the implementation of grants that support development and sustainability of Education programs.
This position is expected to begin August 2026.

Additional Information
Salary RangeThe salary range for this position is $61,940 to $77,239, commensurate with education and experience. This salary is based on 166 contract days within an academic year (August to May).
Salary will be prorated based on actual contract days worked. This is a full-time, 9-month, FLSA-exempt position. This position has been exempted from the State Classified System.

Physical and Cognitive Demands Work is typically performed in a classroom, office, and a child care facility, and requires the ability to travel within ACC's service area.
This position works with children aged 12 months through 6th grade and may require the ability to lift and carry a child weighing up to 50 lbs., use hearing and vision to interact with guests, staff, and children and to recognize trouble outside of view, and the ability to squat, bend, stoop, balance, and kneel.
