Full Job Description

You will serve as a ELECTRONICS MECHANIC TRAINING LEADER in the Production Resources Department (C900) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below.

  • You will conduct formal training for shop personnel on theories, best practices, and equipment related to electrical/electronics shop work.
  • You will develop technical training documentation. coursework, and other training materials related to electrical/electronics shop work.
  • You will develop, modify, and execute training plans on electrical/electronics shop work for trade personnel.
  • You will organize and maintain training records and reports.
  • You will evaluate the work of trainees to ensure shop operating functions are being performed in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
