THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, Position Description Number PDD2284P01 and is part of the WY 153d Maintenance Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard.

This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

AREAS OF CONSIDERATION: The consideration of qualified eligible candidates will be as follows: Area 1: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 MXS.

Area 2: All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.

Area 4: All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.

Area 6: Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units.

Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

TECHNICIAN INFO Type of Appointment: Permanent Tenure: Group 1 or 2 Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm FLSA: Exempt Telework: The duties of this position require primary physical presence.

Situational teleworking may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess specialized working experience in performing training and/or supervising assigned integrated systems repair and maintenance work operations.

Must have working and training experience in the maintenance, repair, and modification of integrated multi-complex avionics systems.

Experiences included redirecting individual workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work. Experience implementing corrective actions, within authority, to resolve work problems.

Experienced in writing FWS 2610 performance standards and provided subordinates with formal appraisals of their work performance.

Experience involved advising and counseling workers on how to improve their performance through explanations and demonstrations of work techniques.

Experiences involved providing recommendations for disciplinary actions Skilled in applying interview techniques and understanding of body language patterns.

Experience interviewing candidates for vacancies and recommending selections to higher level supervisors.

Experience complying with wearing the appropriate safety equipment and following pertinent safety precautions.

Experience participating in readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises.

Experiences may have included work that involved accident/mishap responses, shift supervision, special project management, heavy equipment operations, maintenance of facilities and equipment, or served as a team member that responded to natural disasters or civil emergencies.

NOTE: Basic Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.

COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: Must possess AFSC 2A27X, 2A57X, 2A671C, 2A671H, 2A87X, or 2A97X for award of 2A590. DRIVER'S LICENSE: Must possess a valid state's driver's license.

Major Duties:

This position works within the 153d Airlift Wing, 153d Air Base Group, 153d Maintenance Squadron Avionics Shop that supports C-130 aircraft and is an Air National Guard dual status technician position that requires military membership, compatible military skill assignment and classification.

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise employees who install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes several major functions.

The supervisor in this career field must also possess the ability to perform on-or-off equipment maintenance on one or more complete electronic integrated systems associated with the assigned aircraft and/or maintenance on automatic flight control systems, instrument systems, inertial and radar navigation systems.

1. Serves as section supervisor, exercising supervisory responsibility over assigned integrated systems repair and maintenance work operations. 2.

Investigates work-related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determines causes; implements corrective actions, within authority, to resolve work problems. 3.

Supports and explains management programs to subordinates. 4. Implements safety regulatory requirements. 5.
