Job Description

Summary

This job involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, motors, and controls for power, lighting, and machinery in a U.S. Marine Corps facility in San Diego.

It requires hands-on work with tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues, ensure safety, and follow blueprints.

  • You will install, maintain, and repair electrical power and lighting lines and cables and associated parts of circuits.
  • You will install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, wiring, and various manual and automatic controls of furnaces and other electronic machinery.
  • You will disassemble electrical equipment, traces circuits and locates defects, clean and replace parts, renew wiring, brushes, electrical connections and insulating parts as necessary.
  • You will test equipment for proper operation, safety, and accuracy.
  • You will interpret and apply building plans and blueprints.
