  • Provide own transportation to training and assigned polling location
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Not an elected official, candidate, close relative of a candidate, or supervised by one

Full Job Description

The Davidson County Election Commission is hiring seasonal Poll Officials for Election Day:

Officer--Manages and leads a precinct team, while supporting all of the other Poll Official positions

Special Clerk--Facilitates voting by Provisional ballot

Machine Operator--Prepares voting machine, enabling a voter to cast a ballot

Precinct Registrar--Operates the Electronic Poll Book to verify voter, before voter is sent to voting machine

Reservist--Covers both Machine Operator and Precinct Registrar job duties and is willing to travel to a wide range of locations in Davidson County
Poll Officials are paid $150 per Election Day worked and $30 per mandatory online training class completed.
