About the position
This position is a part of WaTech’s Network Services Division (NSD) and reports to the Enterprise Data Networks Manager.
As the Enterprise Data Networks (EDN) Wide Area Networks (WAN) Supervisor, you will supervise the Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Business Support Coordinators (BSCs) who are responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of data network services for state and local government, higher-education customers, and business tracking of vendor monetary and delivery performance.
In this role you will translate technological options into business terms and advise senior management on state-wide technology solutions for state agencies.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
Eleven (11) total years of progressive work experience in information technology, specializing in network technologies.
A bachelor’s degree in a technology-focused field can be substituted in lieu of four years of experience.The 11 years must include: Three years of progressive supervisor or team lead experience.

Telework: This position is approved for telework. However, the incumbent is required to be onsite in our Olympia, Washington office as needed to conduct supervisor duties and meet with vendors or customers.
