Full Job Description
You will serve as a Supervisory Dive Boat Operations Specialist in the Operations Branch (Code 760), of the Lifting and Handling Department of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating copious data and trends to manage preventative maintenance operations in a production shipyard or industrial environment to identify or remedy maintenance deficiencies.

- You will provide oversight of Code 760 Operations Branch workmanship, material processes, equipment overhaul, ship alterations and repairs of all PSNS and IMF owned dive boats.
- You will speak with managers or supervisors on the specific phases or operations of ship system repair or overhaul projects to include planning, upgrades, alterations/modifications and availabilities.
- You will prepare budgets based on plans for maintenance, repair work, new construction, alteration projects, replacement of existing equipment, or increase in services.
- You will oversee the Division material purchasing, inventory equipment, ancillary equipment, support equipment and material.
- You will conduct meetings with field supervisors, contractors, and officials to verify the production effort is consistent with project priorities.
- You will evaluate and maintain required manning levels.
