We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to join our Income Maintenance Unit as an Economic Service Worker to provide critical economic assistance services to West Virginians in need.

This position supports the mission of the Unit to supply much needed assistance through departmental programs by overseeing the execution of essential services and managing the delivery of state and federal economic assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, and Emergency Assistance/LIEAP.
Economic Service Workers play a central role within the Unit by processing applications, determining eligibility, and maintaining caseloads for a variety of economic assistance programs.
Economic Service Workers serve as a key point of contact for clients to ensure provision of timely, accurate, and compassionate services and resources.
Probationary period 1 yr.
