Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team!

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must possess Bachelor's degree in job related field OR minimum of 3 years¿ leadership role experience in a motel/hotel operation OR combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties stated above.

Must understand the daily operation of a hotel and have working knowledge in automated Property Management System (PMS). Business, hotel, and housing management knowledge is preferred.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays, and nights.

Knowledge of NAF policies and procedures or commonly accepted business practices, industry trends, policies, and procedures to include budgeting, inventories, cost controls, and contract agreement.

Ability to supervise employees accomplishing work, provide work directions and resolve problems.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with subordinates, officials, and others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing in English.

Knowledge in operating Microsoft Programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.

A valid Government Owned Vehicle (GOV) operator's permit is required for the performance of duties for this position.

Inability to obtain or maintain appropriate GOV licensing may result in termination for lack of qualifications. The incumbent is required to obtain required GOV licenses within 30 days of hire.

NONAPPROPRIATED FUND POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Lodging Facility Manager BUSINESS TITLE: Dual Facility Lodging Manager (Courtney/Hansen) FLSA: Exempt JOB SERIES: 1101 PAY LEVEL: NF-04 INTRODUCTION: This is a Marine Corps Hospitality Services (MCHS) MCB, Camp S.D.

Butler position reporting directly to the Lodging Program Manager.

This position is responsible for the operation of the Inns of the Corps Camp Courtney, Distinguished Visitors Quarters - Eagle's Nest, and Inns of the Corps Camp Hansen.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for management and administration of Inns of the Corps Camp Courtney, Distinguished Visitors Quarters - Eagle's Nest, and Inns of the Corps Camp Hansen's daily business operation including but not limited to financial budgeting, strategic planning, customer service and satisfaction trends and complying with all applicable regulations and directives.

Conducts surveys and studies to ensure that services and facilities meet the needs, cleanliness, and desire of patrons.

Implement new policies or innovative promotions that increase occupancy rate, deliver quality guest service, and maintain the required level of profitability.

Develop and implement strategies and procedures to ensure safety and security of occupants.

Supervises personnel to include assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leaves, completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews, and signing timecards, training employees.

Collects, analyzes, updates, and publishes daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports. Acts as a Card Holder (CH) for a non-appropriated fund purchase card.

Carries out duties as the key and cash custodian for Inns of the Corps Camp Courtney, Distinguished Visitors Quarters - Eagle's Nest,, and Inns of the Corps Camp Hansen.

Provides world-class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists guests and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly.

Alerts the higher-level supervisor for help when problems arise. Adheres to safety regulations and standards.

Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.

Develops and ensures implementation of an activity safety program in accordance with the Base Safety Program. Conducts safety meetings at least quarterly.

Advises employees of available safety regulations, instructions, materials and equipment. Promptly reports workplace accidents to the Human Resources Office.

Ensures safety training is provided to employees. Complies with OSHA standards and takes action to correct unsafe or unhealthy working conditions.

Ensures employees understand safety infractions that can result in disciplinary actions and follows through with appropriate action.

Ensures minimal loss of duty by complying with ¿Return to Work¿ program initiatives and following up on employee well-being.

Adheres to established standards of actively supporting the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment.

When so designated, and in the absence of the Lodging Program Manager, performs duties of same. Performs all duties at the lodge as necessary. Performs other related or incidental duties assigned.
