Job Description
Summary
This job involves working as a direct support professional at a residential center, helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with daily personal care, teaching life skills, and ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive home-like setting.

Key Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED

- Capability to document care accurately and report changes in resident condition or behavior
- Washington State Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred but not required)
- Availability for all shifts, including evenings and nights

You’ll follow Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and Nursing Home regulations as part of an interdisciplinary team, promoting quality care and preventing abuse or neglect.

- Support individuals with complex care needs through compassionate and consistent intervention.
- Accompany and transport residents to on- and off-campus appointments and recreational activities.
- Accurately document care provided and report any changes in condition or behavior.

Who should apply?
- Professionals with a High School Diploma/GED OR one year of experience working with people with Intellectual/developmental Disabilities.
- An existing Washington State Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus but not required.
Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.
Opportunities performed on site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
