Are you looking to put your culinary skills to work? We have an amazing temporary opportunity for you to utilize your cooking experience in our kitchen at Lake Burien Transitional Care Facility located in Burien, WA.
King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.
Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
You'll prepare and serve meals according to set recipes and menus; monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning to ensure that all food safety and nutritional requirements are met for the patients of the facility.
The schedule for this position is Friday - Monday 8:00AM - 6:30PM, Tuesday - Thursday OFFSome of what you will do:
Who should apply?
High school diploma or GED.
One year of experience in food preparation or cooking.
Completion of course in large-scale cooking may be substituted for experience.
