If you are looking for a beneficial career with growth and advancement potential, consider this fantastic opportunity!DSHS’ Behavioral Health & Habilitation Administration (BHHA) Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center is seeking Adult Training Specialist 2s to work in our Intermediate Care Facility.
Our Adult Training Specialists are key to the success of empowering the lives of the people we serve by providing community living skill-training programs.
You will work under the direction of the Adult Programs Supervisor as a member of an enthusiastic Interdisciplinary Team. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
Some of what you will do
Implement group and individual programs for people with developmental disabilities in classroom settings for vocational learning activities, such as environmental controls, relaxation, and other vocational readiness skills as outlined in the Individual Habilitation Plan.
Instruct, train and support people in developmental, educational, vocational, language, behavior, social, community survival, and other training programs

These jobs may be filled at the Adult Training Specialist 1 (in-training) level, which requires High School graduation or equivalent education/experience and successful completion of the Adult Training Special in training plan.
